Selena Lopez

Co-Founder & Managing Director


A Chicagoland native, Selena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from The New School for Drama in New York. With Three Crows, Selena was Maureen in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Henrietta Leavitt in Silent Sky, Rosa in Espresso, Andromache in The Trojan Women,  Liz Morden in Our Country's Good, and Catherine Donahue in These Shining Lives


Nathaniel Negrón

Co-Founder & Technical Director


A native of the north Chicago suburbs, Nathaniel attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He's graced stages in Wisconsin, Chicago, and New York. With Three Crows, Nate was seen as Pato Dooley in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Peter Shaw in Silent Sky, Amante in Espresso, Menelaus in The Trojan Women, Ketch Freeman/Robbie Ross in Our Country's Good, and Amundsen in Terra Nova. Other credits include Mr. Dearth in Dear Brutus (Eclectic Full Contact), Didier in Curves & Edges (Interrobang & Three Things.)  As a technical director, Nate has built the sets for most of our shows. His set pieces have graced many of Chicago's stages via other theatre companies.

Rebecca Karpowicz

Co-Founder & Resident Stage Manager


Becky is a founding member and the resident production stage manager at Three Crows Theatre. She received her BFA in Stage Management from UW-Whitewater with a minor in Arts Management. She’s worked with Chicago companies such as The Actor's Gymnasium, CCPA at Roosevelt University, Instituto Cervantes and Chicago Stagehand. Prior to moving to Chicago, she worked as the Show Operations Supervisor at Busch Gardens/Water Country USA in Virginia, at The Armory Dinner Theatre in Wisconsin, and at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.

Kristin Davis

Co-Founder & Resident Director

Kristin directed the Three Crows productions of The Beauty Queen of LeenaneEspresso, Our Country's Good, These Shining Lives, and Language of Angels. Other directing credits include The Haunted Bagpipes (Oracle), Rung (Curious Theatre Branch), Time & Spectrum (Chicago Fringe Festival 2015), Gretel (The Ruckus), and King Lear (Shakespeare's Globe Education). Kristin holds an MA in Classical and Contemporary Text Directing from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a BA in Theatre from James Madison University. Visit her website at www.kristinhdavis.com.

Judith Laughlin

Company & Ensemble Member


Judith has worked with such distinguished Chicago theaters as Provision Theatre, The Agency Theatre Collective, Teatro Vista, Metropolis Theatre, The Artistic Home, BrightSide Theatre, and Fury Theatre. She appeared in our productions of The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Mag), Silent Sky (Williamina Fleming), The Trojan Women  (Hecuba,  and Our Country's Good (Shitty Meg.) Favorite roles include Joan in At the Center, Gertie in Fuddy Meers, Berta in Hedda Gabler, Beth in Ordinary People, Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie. Judith is also the director of the popular Kids on Stage! summer theatre camp program in Glen Ellyn.

Samuel Fitzwater-Butchart

Company Member- Sound Design


Hailing from Milwaukee, Sam has been in theater for almost ten years and has worked for theater companies such as Skylight Music Theatre, Theatre Gigante, and Next-Act Theatre among others. With Three Crows, he's designed The Trojan WomenOur Country's Good, These Shining Lives, and Terra Nova. Other design credits include Circus Man & Curtain Call (Electric Crayon Studios), and My Fair Lady  (RUSD)  He is a graduate of  UW-Parkside where he was the audio engineer for the university's premiere A Cappella group: Parkside RANGE.


Kelliann Keeler

Company Member- Set & Props Design


Kelliann first collaborated with Three Crows as props designer for These Shining Lives and has since designed the scenery and props for Terra Nova and Language of Angels. She received her BA in Theatre Arts Design and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside where she was lead props designer for A Christmas Carol: On The Air, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.


Sam Karpowicz

Company Member- House Manager


Sam is our resident House Manager extraordinaire. He runs the box office, seating, and front of house for all of our shows. Sam attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and has a degree in mechanical engineering.

Katie Ratliff

Company & Ensemble Member


Katie Ratliff is humbled and excited to join the Three Crows Theatre company! Katie received her Bachelor's in Acting from West Texas A&M University and her Master's in Library and Information Science from U of I. She has been seen on stage with Three Crows in Our Country's Good as Dabby Bryant and These Shining Lives as Charlotte. She has also performed for Cornservatory, Live Movie Reads: Uptown Underground, and the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival.


Katie is excited to work with a company who believes in the accessibility of art and dedicates their resources to producing works that are relevant, inspiring, and real.
